Learn all about the history of the Flemish fishing industry in this museum. Visitors can discover the rich museum collection presented in fascinating decors through interactive presentations and audiovisual material. Different activities enhance the great experience value of the museum. The OD.1 “Martha" coastal fishing boat with the underwater world and the North Sea Aquariums beneath it complete the experience.

By car
E40 exit Oostduinkerke, turn right and follow signs to Oostduinkerke, Toekomstlaan follow directions to Oostduinkerke Village (dorp).
By public transport
Coastal Tram: Oostduinkerke Beach (the Fishery Museum is half an hour ’s waking distance from the stop).
Bus: Line 68 goes from Nieuwpoort via Oostduinkerke Village and Koksijde Village directly to Veurne. Line 69 stops more frequently and covers both Nieuwpoort Town as well as Nieuwpoort Beach going to Veurne via Kinderlaan, Oostduinkerke Beach, Oostduinkerke Village, Koksijde Village, Koksijde Beach and Sint-Idesbald. Both lines stop at the National Fishery Museum.
